In common parlance it is a nightgown but the dress is worn by my daughter (11) almost round the clock. Our bedrooms are little heated, so we both like our sleep fashion very long, sleeves and hem length. Unfortunately, there is no thing like that to buy. Usually it has three-quarter sleeves (I hate 3/4-sleeves) and it ends over the knees and in the morning I have such a short night shirt under the armpits. So DIY is the name of the game. Since the girlie grows like weed, a new long night shirt was desired. I am very pleased that homemade clothes are still appreciated.
